I. INITIAL CONSULT & EVALUATION
KGH first has a discussion with you on your company’s needs so we can be most effective at finding the right solution for you. The evaluation process begins with an in-depth analysis of your current benefits package. We determine the most important aspects of the coverage from the employer’s and employees’ perspectives, and discuss what benefits might be added. Next, we establish goals and create a timeline for implementation.

 

II. DATA GATHERING
For us to do the most thorough review for our clients, we work closely with your benefits administrator to gather all relevant information for quoting. We will need a complete group census, benefits descriptions, claims experience (if over 100 employees), current invoices, and any renewal letters received from the insurance companies. After we receive this information, we begin quoting.

 

III. QUOTING
We contact all the leading insurance providers for quotes.  Once we receive the information from each provider, we perform a comprehensive analysis to determine which best meet client criteria.

 

IV. DECISION TIME
After our analysis we determine the two or three best options for the client’s benefit plan. We then meet to discuss these recommendations and offer an in-depth explanation of our conclusions. Depending on the size of the company, the next meeting may include the insurance carriers. We introduce each client to the representatives from the insurance companies who will implement the plan and help us provide exceptional customer service.

 

V. IMPLEMENTATION & EDUCATION
The implementation stage is where we meet with employees to begin the enrollment process. At the enrollment meeting, we provide descriptions of the benefits package along with enrollment forms. Our goal is to have this meeting occur at least one month before the plan effective date. This allows ample time for employees to complete and return their enrollment forms. During the enrollment meeting, we educate employees on the benefits plan and what changes, if any, have been made to the previous benefits package. We explain the plans and how to get the maximum benefit. We continue to educate the employees with new program enhancements and benefits throughout the year.

 

VI. MONITORING
At KGH Insurance Agency, we pride ourselves on providing our clients with outstanding customer service. We are available to answer questions whenever necessary and will contact the benefit’s administrator to see that everything is running smoothly.
